A Level Results Day 2019
Students and staff at Raynes Park High School are today celebrating fantastic A Level and Vocational results with those students who applied to university gaining a place on a degree course.
These results have exceeded expectations and mark another year of excellent academic and personal achievements for the students, demonstrating their hard work and the dedication of our staff.
Another superb pass rate was achieved with 98% of all examinations passed. Over a third of all A Levels taken were passed with grades A*- B, and 65% were passed with grades A* to C. The Vocational results are also impressive; the average grade achieved was a Distinction with the vast majority of students exceeding their target grades.
Headteacher Mrs Heard said: “We are very proud of our students’ achievements. These are excellent results for which students have worked extremely hard. I would like to offer students our warmest congratulations and, on their behalf, thank all of the teachers for their contribution to making these results possible. We wish our former Year 13 students every success for the future”.
Raynes Park High School prides itself on its A-Level and Vocational offer, ensuring students have an appropriate pathway of study to follow that enables them to secure places at universities of their choice. As well as going on to Higher Education, RPHS students are also embarking on apprenticeships in a range of employment sectors, gap years and following specific pathways at specialist institutions.
There were a number of outstanding individual achievements and we are delighted to share these excellent A Level results: David (A*/A*/A*), Akash (A/A/A), Donell (A/A/B), Dardan (A*/A*/D), Daniel (A/B/B), Jazib (A/A/B/B) and Noreen (A/B/B). The following students should also be congratulated on excellent Vocational results; Sola, Ilyas and Sandeep all achieved the highest possible grades Distinction* / Distinction* in Sport and Soha, Jessica and Kayla achieved two Distinctions in Health and Social Care.
Our Director of 6th Form, Mr Fitcher, said ‘I’m very proud of the commitment this year group have shown to their studies and delighted with the strong results across the curriculum’.
