Jack Petchey Award Winner!
Congratulations to Charlotte in Year 8 for winning the Jack Petchey Award for her positive contributions towards our school!
Nominated and chosen by her peers and teachers, Charlotte was the winner of the Jack Petchey Award, awarded by The Jack Petchey Foundation.
Set up by Sir Jack Petchey CBE, the foundation has invested over £150 million to support young people across London and Essex to motivate and encourage them to work hard and reach their full potential.
Charlotte spent her prize money on 44 new books for the school library. The wide range of books and their differing genres are a fantastic addition and will be appreciated by all our pupils, particularly our keen readers at our school who visit our library at break times and after school; new book series like Heartstopper might even tempt those more reluctant readers into getting stuck into a new book!
