Transition to Sixth Form
The transition from GCSE to A Level is one of the most challenging stages of a student’s education and, at Raynes Park Sixth Form, we believe that it is vital for students to prepare as much as possible for their Sixth Form courses. Background reading and the completion of preparatory tasks are essential before starting in September.
Year 11 students, who are hoping to join Raynes Park Sixth Form in September, should use the transition work below to prepare for the academic rigours of the Level 3 courses.
The work has been divided into two categories:
Essential Work must be completed and submitted to class teachers in the first week of term.
Desirable Work is designed to extend your thinking and develop your wider knowledge of your subjects beyond the curriculum.
