Raynes Park High School Ofsted Inspection - January 2019

It is with enormous pleasure that I write to share the fantastic news that Raynes Park High School has once again been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. Following the two-day inspection on the 23^rd and 24^th January, the team firmly agreed with our self-evaluation that we were good in all categories.

I am delighted that Ofsted has recognised the excellent work going on at RPHS. The inspectors noted that we have continued to drive improvement across the school and maintained the good quality of education since our previous inspection in October 2015.

The report highlights many key strengths of our school. We are particularly proud that the inspectors described RPHS as “a welcoming, purposeful and sociable centre of learning” where teachers have high expectations for pupils’ levels of attentiveness and the quality of their work, demonstrating confident subject knowledge and enthusiasm for their subjects.

The report also noted that pupils are respectful to each other, that they were polite and welcoming to the inspection team and that they expressed loyalty and pride in their school.

We could not have achieved this outcome without your support and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you, your fantastic children and our dedicated staff for their hard work and commitment, which has helped to make RPHS a wonderful place to learn, work and succeed.
